ODK Original Series

Against the Odds’ is OnDemand Korea’s original documentary series, covering stories of Korean Americans who are chasing their dream of finding success in various cities of U.S. I was responsible for a creative direction and design of key art posters, storyboards, and marketing assets.

Against the Odds : CEO

To convey that the series focused on business professionals, I used a building as the main motif and depicted the growth process of each CEO by adding vertical stripe lines to make the building appear taller and rise up.

Against the Odds : San Francisco

As a continuation of the CEO series, I decided to switch up the motif from the building to the Golden Gate Bridge, a
landmark that is iconic to San Francisco. Also, I incorporated a red and blue color palette that was representative of the city of San Francisco, as well as the IT and Tech industry that this series focuses on.

Against the Odds : Seattle

In this series, my aim was to showcase the unique blend of urban and natural environments that define Seattle. To achieve this, I selected the Space Needle as the main motif and incorporated the surrounding buildings and mountains.
